This lightweight, original 1966 Fender Stratocaster is a monster sounding one, and was born in late ’66 leaving the factory as a incredibly cool custom color, “Ice Blue Metallic” of all things!
For some reason it was sent back to the factory one year later, in late 1968, to be painted again, but in the standard sunburst finish, preserving the original Ice Blue in all cavities though.
Aside from this Fender factory work, the instrument is original fitted with all its 1966 parts, and has 3 fantastic sounding grey bottom pickups.
The case shown in the pictures is not included, the instrument comes with a modern HSC.
