I've been searching for one of these fantastic amps for a long while, and then I finally found this nice example here, that has had quite a life for sure! The original tweed covering was painted brown , and a bigger front plate was put on the front (with the player's name on it?? who knows? to place that thing they cut the upper part of the front metal blade, that I had masterfully restored by my dear friend Valter Barale. Because of the brown paint removal, the original tweed Had lost its typical color, so I restored that part with same technique used in fender at the factory back then, and I reversed the original grill cloth that was left unmolested on the inner side. The original speakers needed to be reconed, and now the amp, which is totally original in its parts, sounds really amazing. Now I know why a certain Billy Gibbons used these for many years !!
